How do I edit an SRT file online?

Can I edit the subtitle timing too?

Yes. Each cue has editable start and end fields in 00:00:00,000 format. Invalid timestamps are highlighted so you cannot accidentally break the file.

Can I add or remove subtitles?

Yes. Use “+ Add below” to insert a new cue after any row, and “Delete” to remove one. Cue numbers are renumbered automatically in the downloaded file.

Does the editor upload my subtitles?

No. The editor runs entirely in your browser — the file is opened and saved locally and never touches a server.

Can I open VTT or SBV files in the SRT editor?
